The Story Behind This Drop

We love this wine for the way it channels its hillside roots, dark cherry, cracked pepper, and a whisper of Mediterranean breeze. Each sip tells the story of Galilee's ancient terroir, where volcanic soils meet generations of winemaking wisdom.

From the Lower Galilee near the foothills of Mt. Tabor, this RhĂ´ne-style blend is crafted by a French-trained winemaker with experience from France, Spain, and Portugal. Aged 10 months in French oak, Galilee Mosaic showcases the elegance of Israeli terroir through an Old World lens.

Producer Heritage

Winemaker standing in a barrel cellar

Fourth-generation vintner Yael Ben-Ami continues her family's legacy on the volcanic basalt slopes above the Sea of Galilee. Her 40-year-old vines, planted by her grandfather, produce fruit of exceptional concentration and character.

“Each vintage is fermented in open-top concrete tanks, then rested in seasoned French oak, letting the terroir speak without excess wood. The result is a wine that feels both ancient and vividly alive.”
